Course Objective

The course is designed specially for office professionals who want to improve their work performance and productivity through the effective use of Microsoft Office. It will help participants enhance desktop skills, better manage business data and streamline workflow. In the course, participants will learn a useful range of intermediate to advanced-level skills covering Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Lectures, hands-on practice and assignments will be based on Microsoft Office 2010.

Course Duration

48 hours (16 sessions, 3 hours each)

Course Prerequisites

Course applicants should be at least 18 years old and have completed Form 5. They are also required to have elementary skills in emailing, Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.

Title of Award and Assessment Methods

The students are assessed in a number of assignments during the course. The course certificate will be awarded to the students who satisfy the attendance requirement and pass in the assignments.

Course Fee

$6,900 ($1,380 for eligible applicants after maximum 80% course fee reimbursement from CEF upon successful completion of the course)

Course Delivery Language

Cantonese-taught and English-taught courses are available. Course material is only in English.

Application Procedure

  1. Proceed with on-line registration or send the completed enrolment form (download) to us together with a cheque (made payable to Welkin Compuer Training) for the program fee.

  2. CEF applicants have to complete the CEF Application Form (download) and send it to us for certification. They will then send the form to the Office of the Continuing Education Fund, Room 916, 9/F, Kwai Hing Government Offices, 166-174 Hing Fong Road, Kwai Chung, New Territories, together with a photocopy of their HKID Card before course commencement.

  3. Applicants will receive application results from the Office of the CEF within 14 working days.
