How to enrol/pay online

Upon course completion, you will understand how to:

  • import and organize information effectively by using a Microsoft Access database
  • import and query data in Excel files
  • use advanced queries such as aggregate queries, action queries and sub-queries in filtering and retrieving records from Access
  • use ADO and advanced SQL statements in Excel VBA to retrieve or manipulate Access records

    • Tables and relationships
    • Design effective database using generalization techniques
    • Importing Excel data into Access
  2. Queries
    • Creating queries using Access query window
    • Creating SQL statements (in SQL window)
    • Using SQL operators, aggregate queries, calculated fields, action queries and sub-queries
    • Querying multiple tables
  1. Excel VBA programming – using ADO
    • Intermediate VBA programming skills

    • Using advanced queries in VBA to retrieve and modify Access database records

  1. Proceed with on-line registration or send the completed enrolment form (download) to us together with a cheque (made payable to Welkin Compuer Training) for the program fee.
  2. CEF applicants have to complete the CEF Application Form (download) and send it to us for certification. They will then send the form to the Office of the Continuing Education Fund, Room 916, 9/F, Kwai Hing Government Offices, 166-174 Hing Fong Road, Kwai Chung, New Territories, together with a photocopy of their HKID Card before course commencement.
  3. Applicants will receive application results from the Office of the CEF within 14 working days.
